Terms of use

The service

BossCharts shows market data for crypto assets: charts with indicators and drawing tools, watchlists, alerts, order books and trades, liquidation heatmaps, news and, if you add your own exchange API keys or wallet addresses, a view of your own accounts. Most of it works without an account.

We may change, add or remove features at any time.

No investment advice

Everything in BossCharts is information. It is not investment, financial, legal or tax advice, and not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Liquidation heatmaps, liquidation levels and other figures are estimates.

You make your own decisions and you are responsible for them. Please read the risk disclosure.

Market data

Prices and other data come from exchanges, CoinGecko, news sites and other public sources, through our server or straight to your browser. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and a source can stop answering at any time. Do not rely on BossCharts as your only source before you trade.

Your exchange accounts and API keys

Add API keys only for exchange accounts that are yours. BossCharts refuses keys that can withdraw funds; give a key only the permissions you need.

Your keys stay in your browser (see the privacy policy). Keep your device and your passphrase safe: anyone who can use your browser may be able to use your keys.

Your relationship with each exchange is governed by that exchange's own terms. We are not a party to it, and we are not responsible for what an exchange does with your account, your orders or your funds.

Orders

Trading with real money is not available yet. If we offer it, each order will be shown to you in full and sent from your browser to your exchange only after you confirm it. The exchange carries out the order, not BossCharts.

You are responsible for every order you confirm, including its price, size and leverage. We never hold your funds, and we cannot cancel or reverse an order for you.

Accounts and plans

Some features may need a free account. Keep your sign-in details safe, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile.

If we offer paid plans, their price and terms will be shown to you before you buy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• use BossCharts for anything illegal;
• try to get into parts of the service, or data, that are not yours;
• overload the service, copy or scrape it or its data in bulk, or get around its limits;
• reverse engineer it, except where the law allows;
• use it to build a competing product or data feed;
• interfere with its security.

Intellectual property

BossCharts, its design, software, texts and logos belong to us or to our licensors. You may use BossCharts for your own personal use.

Exchange names and logos, coin names and logos, and news content belong to their owners. Showing them does not mean their owners endorse BossCharts, and BossCharts is not affiliated with any exchange.

Availability

We work to keep BossCharts running, but we do not promise that it will always be available, fast or free of errors. Features may change, pause or stop.

The service as is

BossCharts is provided as is and as available. As far as the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for:

• trading losses or lost profits;
• losses caused by delayed, wrong or missing data, estimates or alerts;
• anything an exchange, a wallet service or another third party does or fails to do;
• indirect or consequential losses.

Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands, and the courts of the British Virgin Islands decide disputes about them.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim in its courts.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change matters to you, we will tell you in the app before it applies. If you go on using BossCharts after that, the new terms apply.
